Every tip goes toward the fixed costs of running the app — Apple's yearly developer fee, the domain, the PriceCharting API subscription, and Firebase compute for everyone else who uses GamerVault for free. Nothing you contribute unlocks anything different for you inside the app — every feature was always going to be free to you.
Any surplus goes toward building things people ask for and keeping this a project I can afford to keep on.
Other ways to help — no money required
- Leave an honest review on the App Store. Reviews are the single biggest thing indie apps live and die on.
- Tell a friend who collects. Especially the friend with the giant retro shelf they've never catalogued.
- Send feedback to support@gamervault.app — bugs, feature requests, "the app should let me do X." Every message gets read.
- Post your collection to your social media with the app open in the background. Not required, obviously — but it helps other collectors find it.
